Hey everyone,

So today was a very weird day for me.

I'm sorry but I can't illustrate further till things are confirmed.

Things aren't going well for me lately emotionally and physically but I came to realization that it doesn't matter what your surroundings are but the way you handle it.

But I put my trust in God that the circumstances will change as He has changed me.

I am looking at this as a challenge and not a problem.

Something I can conquer with the help of God, my leaders and my friends =)

Anyhow, tomorrow is Business Math examination and Business and It's Environment on Tuesday.

So for those who knows me very well, you know I tend to score As for Math, yes?

I don't know about this! Hahaha!

I have no confidence in my Math =P

However, I have full confidence in scoring for my Business and It's Environment.

Something that interest me among all my 5 subjects =P

Have been sleeping only 3 hours per day due to studying. Stressed over it. Lie down on the bed and all I can think of is exams! Argh!

Felt extremely drained yesterday but when I went to youth, I felt NO tiredness but a COMPLETE-energized-me =)

But I thank God that last night and this evening, I slept like a pig. Which also means, I regained my energy =)

Hehehe!

What a way to get up to!

Good evening =)

So today was Marketing paper...

I shall tell you something...

At 6am... My maid went "LI-ANNE!! BANGUN!! TAK PERGI KE???" in translation "LI-ANNE!! GET UP!! NOT GOING??"

And somehow I jumped of the bed and quickly went to my room and took my docket and check it.

PRINCIPLES OF MARKETING [0900-1200]

And I went "OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I THOUGHT MY EXAMS WAS AT 2PM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

I freaked out so badly that I went blank in the morning not being able to remember a single thing I studied. Lol.

Thank goodness I told my maid to wake me or I would have missed my exam!

I LOVE YOU KAKAK!!! Lol.

So fast forward, during the exams... I wrote until non stop right up to the very last minute.

I could remember all the main points that I studied the pass weeks which was good =)

I think I did well for it! Hopefully =)

What's my next paper you may ask. My answer: I don't know.

Welcome, October!

Good afternoon everyone,

Have you ever wonder what happened to the whole year?

It passed so quickly, for me it felt like celebrating New Year's Day yesterday.

It's October now...

Two more months and the year has come to an end!

And I'm going to turn NINETEEN!!!!

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

*moment of silence for Li-Anne, please*

Soooooooo, tomorrow is my Marketing examination and to be honest... As much as I study and do the past year exams...

I don't know why but I still feel insecure in scoring!

I am afraid when I go into the exam hall, I forget every single thing I studied and go blank during the exam.

Anyhow, today I went to the Gynaecologist in Assunta to check up on my stomach ache.

Have been having stomach ache for a year but I thought it was something small so I just couldn't be bothered to tell my mum.

But lately I've been vomitting, and my stomach aches are unbearable and mum started getting very worried and ask me to see the doctor.

So I went to see the specialist today, wow! He is extremely rude. And he had to check me.

OMG! Felt so violated!

But anyway, the doctor say the stomach ache has nothing to do with the irregular PMS that I am having and ask me to go to the Gastrocologist instead.

He said also that I am under stress over studies or something that made my PMS irregular. And I was like "uh-oh!" cos I know it wasn't studies...

So anyhow, next week Friday I would be going to see the Gastrocologist. What worries me is my stomach ache comes during my exams then I'm so dead!

Cos I don't write well whenever I have stomach ache. I really don't intend to re-seat my exam just cos I failed not cos I didn't study but cos of a stupid stomach ache.

And the worse part is, the next re-seat would be in December... I'll go crazy if so!

I would need to study even longer plus the next semesters subject!! =(

Thank goodness I am exempted from English course so I have one subject less than my friends and I can pay attention to the one which I have to resit IF I fail!

Can't wait to finish my exams!

I'm thinking of going to Penang during my semester break!

Anyone interested in tagging along? =)

It gets nearer and nearer...

Hey everyone,

So I re-asked my mum again yesterday about allowing me to go to Hillsong College next year and she gave me a yes again.

Weeeeeeee~

Only thing now is to show my parents that I am responsible enough since I will be alone there. And a few things she knows I tend to do:

I....

1) Go shopping for things like there's no tomorrow

2) Can handle money without wasting it on shopping

3) Stay up all night

I don't ....

1) Eat my medicine/vitamins

2) Eat - Hahahaha!

3) Take care of myself properly - HEY! Not anymore! :D

So, six things I need to change and prove to my parents that I am responsible.

We'll see if I can do it or not la =P

I just need this to work, I really do.

I have so many reasons why I want to go for this.

So do pray for me k?

I really want this to work and I want a full support from my parents not only half.

Two things happened on 10 September 2009, something good and something bad.

During my mum's class yesterday, I received a text message from Nicole:

"Girl, can I have Shakira's number? Shobaan passed away."

It was a total shock for me and I started tearing in class like some dumb bimbo!

Shobaan is a friend who was always there for his friends, me personally... He was!
He was funny, caring and utterly great personality!

It was hard to accept it as I was drowning in my emo-ness the last time I talked to him and he just left without saying goodbye.

You'll always be in my memories, Shobaanthiran!

Il DIVO!!!

Hey everyone,

So this week was a very hectic, hard and unbearable week.
Things was pretty hard to handle but I am greatful to God for being in the picture in all of these.

Without God, I think I would lose a lot of things I have now.

Anyhow, today was Business Math class.
I was such a good girl that I went for class, mana I tahu, I had a phone call from my Business Math teacher, Miss Nithya.

Me: (saw it was SEGi KL's number) Yes, mum?
Miss Nithya: Hello, is this Miss Tan's daughter?
Me: Yes? May I know who this is?
Miss Nithya: This is Miss Nithya, your business math lecturer?
Me: (omg! malu-nye!) Yes? Can I help you with anything?
Miss Nithya: Are you in class yet?
Me: Yes I am.
Miss Nithya: Is everyone there yet?
Me: Nope.
Miss Nithya: Oh okay, please let the class know I'll be slightly late for class today?
Me: Okay. No problem.

Then I went on minding my business and another phone came after 10 minutes:

Me: Hellooooooo?
Miss Nithya: Hello, is this Miss Tan's daughter?
Me: (???) Yes, Miss Nithya?
Miss Nithya: Is everyone there yet?
Me: (erm... when did my classmates arrive so on time?) Nope, not everyone.
Miss Nithya: Okay, could you please let the class know that I might be canceling the class as I am not feeling that well?
Me: Sure.

Then 5 minutes later, another call...

Me: Hello Miss Nithya?
Miss Nithya: Hello. Can you please let the class know I'll be canceling the class?
Me: Huh? Cancel? Errr... Okay, sure.
Miss Nithya: Which class are you in now?
Me: 4A!
Miss Nithya: Okay, I will come down and see you guys.
Me: Okay! Bye!

(to get a call from your lecturer to ask about that is weird)

After 2 minutes, she walked in class and told us she wanted to cancel her class.
She looked and sounded very sickly.

Anyhow, after that, Elliot ajak me go watch:

I liked it actually, just some part it was a little gruesome.

Then we meet up with Rachel after her class =)

B & E

Ola everyone,

So wondering what is B&E stated on the title of this post?

Well, it's my mum's course - Business and It's Environment.

Her coursework is due tomorrow and I'm 500 words short from the estimated words.

What a headache!

The question is about Mixed Economies and Insurance Companies.

(Like I really care about mixed economies in an Insurance company?)

Gives me headache just thinking of what more I can write in the assignment!

Anyhow, yesterday Sammie and I went to Times Square and I did my first FISH SPA and leg massage.

Worth it didn't it, Sammie? Hehe!

We felt like walking on air after the massage. Haha!

It was definitely a very scary experience, I mean... letting fishes bite your feet is so NOT what many people have in mind. But since it was only RM5, I gave it a try anyway.

It took me at least about 2 minutes to actually put my leg inside the thingy (whatever you call it ;) ).

My leg is infested with (whatever you call it)

woot woot!

Thank you for all those who kept my collegemates and I in prayer!

They're recovering extremely fast and that's due to your prayer and of course, God! =)

So today I went for SALT-ing which is also a process of bringing someone to Christ.

To be honest, I enjoyed every bit of it and I can't wait for SALT-ing again tomorrow!

Looking at the enthusism and the interest from someone unknown just drives you to go the extra mile for them AND for God.

It's amazing how things just falls into place when God is in the picture, don't ya think so? =)

Whether or not you agree, it's not going to change MY perspective of it =D

I've been reading John C. Maxwell books lately and it gives me a total new perspective of the things I do and conquer in our daily lives.

I'm currently reading the book "Developing The Leader Within You" and I can say that it is ONE great book that you should get your hands on it.

I actually don't think it's on sale anymore course I have not seen it for weeks, I got it from my mum who bought it some time ago.

So if anyone of you is interested, you can borrow it from me at NO COST! (of course)

I also bought another book from John C. Maxwell - The Difference Maker. A book about Attitudes. And the tagline is catchy for me: "Making Your Attitude Your Greatest Asset".

I agree. Attitude is one asset which people always find.

Just to say when you're looking for a job... No intervewer will accept you just by your qualification but also your attiude and personality. So the tagline caught my eye and I just HAD to get my hands on it!

It only cost RM25!! So get your hands on it! You know the book is good when you read the words at the back of the cover and it just stays in you! =)

H1N1

As of today...

8 deaths in Malaysia, 1000+ case suspected and don't know how many confirm.

44 schools have been closed, and 2 reported cases in SEGi KL due to this virus called, H1N1.

I'm pretty sure you guys know what this virus is, well...

My class (Diploma in Human Resource Management - DHRM), is a small class with only 12 students.

Our classes are mostly combined with other Diploma classes such as Diploma in Marketing.

The only time where we (DHRM) students get together in our very own course (which means - only our course members) is during my mum's class.

To cut the story short, my class of 12 people has 5 people who confirm having extreme high fever in a day... H1N1 you say? My answer is I don't know.

All I know is I'm having a slight fever but doctor say is nothing serious... My friends however has gotten sicker by the hour.

Concern I am of myself, I really am very concern of my friends and praying that it would only be a fever and nothing else.

It scared the rest of our classmates but through this I can see the classmates side of them - a concern side for friends.

In this upcoming 2 years with them, I can forsee myself having a great blast with them especially since the class is small.

Tho I may know like 7-8 of them currently, I feel that I will know all of them pretty well in the future.

However, for now... Will you all please join hands with me and pray for them?

I'm believing for a miracle and I know God is here!
